Daniel J. F. Lupia

Daniel grew up in Switzerland and spent summers with his Italian immigrant grandparents in Pennsylvania. His interest in genealogy began in childhood; when he visited his extended relatives in the United States.  Daniel has been engaged in genealogy work for many years and several indexing projects, the most elaborate being the civil records of his grandmother's town, San Mango D’Aquino in the province of Catanzaro. His role in IPR is to help coordinate and standardize Civil and Church indexing projects and find Southern Italians willing to help digitize records.

noah J. Graf

Noah J. Graf is a practicing attorney in Chicago, Illinois and a long-time independent genealogist.  He is a graduate of Northwestern University (B.A., History) and Loyola University Chicago (J.D.).  Noah began researching his own family’s history as a teenager, supplementing a lifelong interest in history, and eventually developed an advanced level of genealogical skill over the succeeding two decades.  He is fluent in Latin, with some knowledge of Italian and German, has a deep knowledge of European political, legal, and social history, focusing on the medieval period, and is skilled in late medieval and early modern paleography.  Noah has authored a finding aid for the civil records of the City of Messina, which has been published through Italian Parish Records.  His own Italian roots are on the island of Sicily.

Born in Rome and currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Francesco’s studies have focused on ancient documents. With dual degrees in archaeology, he has significant experience in genealogical research.  Francesco has traveled extensively in Italy researching documents in both parishes and government files particularly in the Veneto, Calabria, Lazio, and Tuscany.  His research has expanded over time from family genealogy to the study of entire populations.  Specializing in digitizing Italy’s parish records, Francesco has preserved many records to date.  Further, he is a veteran indexer fluent in Italian and Latin.  As such, his expertise on registries and censi helps facilitate the ongoing work of researchers.
