These documents contain an inventory of parishes that submitted information about the registries that they had in their possession in 1942-1943, as contained in the Il Censimento Degli Archivi Ecclesiastici d’Italia Del 1942-1943. Please keep in mind that NOT ALL parishes submitted information to the Archivio Segreto Vaticano for the census, so if you do not find the parish you are looking for, this may be one reason why.  

• Please note this census information informs us what registries may still be available today for digitizing and allows researchers to gather data about the time range the sacramental records began in communes across Italy.  If you find the parish you are searching for in the census, this does not mean that the records have been digitized.
